Snobelen Farms has many great varieties to offer you, the grower. We start with a small amount of breeder seed from a plant breeder (SeCan, Hyland, or Advantage Seeds) and multiply it to a marketable quantity, which takes about three years. In addition to supplying certified seed for commercial production, Snobelen Farms also sells higher pedigree seed to other processors for multiplication.

Advantage Seeds is a network of independent seed dealers across Ontario. They are farmers just like you, working their land and living in your community. They search far and wide for the best performing seed genetics, test it on their own soil, and then pass the successful varieties on to us. In 1992 Snobelen Farms became a founding partner of Advantage Seeds. Today, with 13 shareholders, Advantage propagates and processes the newest and best varieties of cereals and soybeans for sale. Snobelen Farms are proud members of SeCan. SeCan actively seeks marketing rights to superior new varieties of many crop types.
